We are appealing for witnesses, footage and information following a road traffic collision in Rotherham.   

At 2.10pm yesterday (Wednesday 8 April) we responded to reports of a road traffic collision on Brinsworth Road at the junction of Wood Lane.   

It is reported that a black Audi A3 and an e-bike were involved in the collision.   

A 53-year-old man, who was the rider of the e-bike, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a life-threatening condition.   

The driver of the Audi remained on scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
