Police were called to a report of a collision around 6:45pm on Tuesday 14th February on the A19 northbound near Thornaby.

Two vehicles were involved, a Toyota Auris and an Audi A3.

A 27-year-old woman suffered possible fractures to her back

and shoulder. The woman and two men aged 22 and 35 who were travelling in the Toyota were taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
