Police received a report of a firearms discharge at a property on Woodhouse Road, Guisborough, around 11:50pm on Tuesday 5th August.

Fortunately, no one in the property was harmed. Officers believe this was a targeted attack and there are ongoing patrols in the area to offer reassurance to the local community.

A team of detectives are carrying out enquiries to identify and locate those responsible as soon as possible. Anyone who may have information regarding the incident or those involved, can contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 147514.
