Police are appealing for anyone with dash cam footage of a

collision on Tuesday 9th July on the A19 to contact them. 

Officers were called around 1pm to a four-vehicle collision on the A19 northbound Mandale interchange. 

The collision involved four vehicles; a grey Mercedes, a red

Kia, a Ford Transit Tipper and an Audi A4.  

Officers believe a fifth vehicle may have made off from the

scene.  

A woman and an 11-year-old girl travelling in the Mercedes

were taken to hospital as a precaution.  

A 38-year-old man, driving the Ford Transit Tipper, was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs.
