Appeal after New Build Properties Targeted in Burglaries

A number of reports of burglaries at new build properties
in Hartlepool is being investigated by CID officers.

Between February 29th and Friday 5th April there have been ten reports of burglaries at Spindle Way, Musgrave Garden
Lane, Rodney Street, Riverston Close, Vine Close, Golden Meadows and Reedston Road.

A number of boilers were removed and stolen from properties and other items including kitchen units, fridge freezers, washing machines and a composite door. 

Thousands of pounds worth of goods has been taken in the
burglaries.

Officers would appeal for any CCTV or dash cam footage of anyone acting suspiciously around these locations, dates and times –
· Spindle Way, Hartlepool, between 5pm on Thursday 29th February and 7am on Monday 1st March and between 7pm on Thursday 4th April and 7:30am on Friday 5th April
· Reedston Road between 1am and 4am on Monday 11th March
·  Golden Meadows, around 12:50am, on Wednesday 13th March
·  Vine Close, between 4pm on Friday 15th March and 8am on Monday 18th March
·  Riverston Close, between 5pm on Friday 22nd March and 10am on Monday 25th March
·  Rodney Street between 00:27am and 1:10am on Thursday 25th March
·  Musgrave Garden Lane, Wynyard, between midnight and 2am on Friday 29th March
