Detectives are appealing for information and any witnesses following an assault in Middlesbrough.

It was reported that two males attacked the victim at around 8.30pm on Monday 29th December on Bedford Street in Middlesbrough before making off on pedal bikes.

The victim sustained multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital where his injuries were not deemed to be life-threatening.

The two males suspects have been described as being aged between 18 and 20 and they were both wearing black tracksuits with their hoods up. 

Extensive enquiries are underway, and detectives are urging anyone with information to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 248098.
