Officers are appealing for information and any relevant dash cam following a collision involving a black vehicle and a child on a pedal bike in Hartlepool.

The collision occurred between 2.30pm and 3.00pm on Saturday 21st March on Fulthorpe Avenue in Hartlepool. The child suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle briefly stopped and spoke with the child before leaving the scene and officers are keen to speak to the driver.

Officers are urging the driver or anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 053158.
