Officers are appealing for information and any relevant CCTV or dash cam footage after a collision in Hartlepool.

The incident happened at around 3.45pm on Saturday 31st January on Chester Road in Hartlepool and involved a black Nissan Qashqai and a blue and white quad bike.

The quad bike rider, a 14-year-old boy, suffered bruising and swelling.

It’s believed the two male occupants of the Nissan Qashqai made off from the scene on foot in the direction of Ashley Gardens.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have information to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 019246.
