Officers are appealing for anyone with information or CCTV footage following a stabbing in Redcar.

The incident occurred on Redcar High Street near Wilkinsons at around 5.20am this morning (31st March).

A man suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information or any relevant CCTV footage is urged to contact the police on 101, quoting crime reference number 057963.
