Detectives investigating the death of a man on Ayton Crescent in Eston are continuing their enquiries today.

Peter Phillips, aged 47, died from a single gunshot wound following an incident at around 11.00pm on Saturday 23 May.

Two 39-year-old men remain in custody along with a 38-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man. A 28-year-old woman has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Senior Investigating Officer, Superintendent Daryll Tomlinson, said: “As we continue our enquiries, we have made two more arrests. We’d still like to hear from anyone with information who may not have spoken to police yet.

“We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone with relevant dash cam or CCTV footage between 7pm on Saturday 23rd May to 1am on Sunday 24th May of two males riding a motorbike in the Bankfields Road, Eston and Grangetown areas."
